We have risked and sacrificed our lives in this journey to discover other planets that lay host to human life, and in the Novus Sector that journey finally ended. With my two fellow colleagues, all of us reaching the end of our own mental limits, we were finally appeased to be able to speak about the Herodian's plot to terminate mankind throughout the universe.”

“However, this populated land that we had discovered teeming with human life, completely shattered our hopes. What we witnessed here disgusted us. The crimes and violence we saw was a cruel reminder of events seen earlier in our very own species' development. Under the guise of the ‘Evolution of Mankind' we bore witness to the new sins and shameful situations that bore fruition under this new project. Was this the true plan for these people?”

“Upon arrival to the Planet Novus, my two colleagues fell victim to this ‘New Breed' of mankind. Both died at the hands of these humans after years of surviving the Arcane Virus and Herodian attacks. These humans, through experimentation and scientific “improvement”, were victims of the Earth's artificial evolution procedure which exaggerated their violent tendencies.”

“ Seeing these people turn into the monsters that we all have hidden deep down inside, has made me realise that all of us humans have an inner animal that is truly evil in nature, bringing into doubt as to whether we really did deserve to be brought into existence in the first place. Thirty-three years and the lives of my colleagues have been sacrificed for these undeserving people and have left me a bitter man. This may be my last journal as I contemplate whether or not I should deactivate the life support systems. The despair of the situation has finally caught up with me and my will to live ever dwindles away. In fact I don't know who I am making these recordings for, as I'm sure they will be lost to the ether forever.”

“Before I go, I have to ensure that if anyone discovers these recordings, the work we carried out wasn't in vain. During our on-going voyage, my colleagues and myself discovered the secrets of the Mutant Strain Arcane Virus and the Herodian's involvement in the creation of this virus. We also researched and revealed the secret of the Holy Mental element, and its ability to restrain the Herodians from their attacks.

Finally we found that humans are animals by nature and immersed in greed. However, this true nature may be their saving grace in their war against the Herodians, for it is inevitable for the two factions to clash, and it is my honest belief that they will be the only ones capable of destroying the Herodians. If a war between the Herodians and remaining humans continues with the residents of Novus, I truly hope the humans survive, even though they are the subjects of experimentation with an untold evil.
