CORA:
The following is a screen shot of the Corite combat proficiency (PT) statistics as displayed to a Corite player. |
You will notice that Corites have 6 types of combat proficiency (PT). I have discussed so far, the common 4 that all races share, and you can see them here. You will also notice two new types of PT I have not discussed yet, Force, and Summon.
First I will discuss Force combat proficiency (PT). Force combat proficiency (PT) is common to both Cora and Bellato races, but not Accretia. This is because Force combat proficiency (PT) relates to magic use. Since Accretia are not magic users, they do not get this type of combat proficiency (PT).
Force PT :
You gain this combat proficiency (PT) every time you use a magic skill. ( I will discuss skill proficiency shortly). Each use will increase this combat proficiency (PT) statistic by a small amount.
As this statistic levels up, your force (magic) damage increases, you gain more FP and you are able to equip higher level spiritualist weapons and armors.
RACIAL PTS:
This is probably the best time to begin discussing racial combat proficiencies. Each race has its own unique class or special weapon. Accretia have the Siege cannon (a massive Artillery like weapon), Bellato have mechs (Large mechanical war machines), and Cora has Animus (Summoned creatures that take or deal damage)
Now you will notice on the screen shot above, that Corites get a combat proficiency (PT) called Summon. You can learn more about summons HERE
Summon PT:
You gain this combat proficiency (PT) every time you use your Animus (summon). As the summon helps the player and levels, this combat proficiency (PT) will slowly increase. |
BELLATO:
The following is a screen shot of the Bellato combat proficiency (PT) statistics as displayed to a Bellato player. |
You will notice that Bellato have 6 types of combat proficiency (PT). I have discussed so far, the common 4 that all races share, and the Force type that Bellato and Cora share, and you can see them here. You will also notice that Bellato does not have Summon combat proficiency (PT) but rather Unit combat proficiency (PT) instead.
This is because Bellatos race specialty is not summons, but Mechs instead. You can learn more about mechs HERE (get mech info link)
Unit PT:
You gain this combat proficiency (PT) every time your Mech makes use of its ablilites in combat.
As this statistic levels up, you can purchase higher level and stronger weapons and armor upgrades for your mech. |
ACCRETIA:
The following is a screen shot of the Accreitan combat proficiency (PT) statistics as displayed to an Accretian player. |
If you have been following along with my guide so far, you will notice that Accreitans have only 5 types of combat proficiency (PT), not 6. The reason for this is that Accretians cannot use magic like Bellato or Cora can. So there is no Force combat proficiency (PT).
Now Accretians have the common 4 types of combat proficiency (PT), and a fifth type called Launcher. Launchers are Accretia’s race specialty, and a separate type of long range weapon. Launchers are necessary for using the siege kit upgrade. You can learn more about launchers and siege kits HERE
Launcher PT:
You gain this combat proficiency (PT) by using Launcher type weapons. Each successful hit will increase this combat proficiency (PT) statistic by a small amount.
As this statistic levels up, you can wield higher level launcher weapons and armors. |
