Crafting
The crafting of items can only be done by Specialists within RF Online. These classes sacrifice their Expert and Elite skills/force to be able to manufacture ammo, weapons, armor and shields.
The Crafters also have to level their crafting skills up within RF Online, and as such they will use many items and Booty in the process. A lot of money can be spent on leveling their crafting skills. However a lot of money stands to be made from crafting above standard amours and alike.
Crafters who reach level 40 have a small chance of randomly crafting Intense armor/weapons.
To craft, you will first need to buy three crafting tools from the Sundries: the weapon/shield-making tool, the armor-making tool, and the ammo-making tool. These tools will tell you what you need to craft your selected item. For most things you will need Booty and processed ore. Booty can be acquired by hunting monsters, and ore can be acquired by mining. Here¡¯s a list of what type of ore you need to process to make certain things:
Blue Ore
Used to make Staff weapons and Pants (armor)
Red Ore
Used to make Firearms and Headpiece (armor)
Yellow Ore
Used to make Shields, Launchers, and Upper (armor)
Green Ore
Used to make Bows, Throw Knives, and Gloves (armor)
Black Ore
Used to make close-range Weapons and Shoes (armor)
Once you have the required materials needed to craft, open the crafting window by right-clicking the crafting tool necessary from your inventory. Click the item you wish to craft and click on [Proceed].
