| A: There will be no changes to the customer support process post merge. You will however see more GM¡¯s in game now. |

| Q: How will the server cope with all these players? |
| A: Due to the way in which RF Online was built ¨C the amount of players on the game world doesn¡¯t affect the performance of the server. Saying that ¨C we are taking extra measures to ensure that performance drops are kept to a minimum by implementing 64 Bit technology. |

| Q: I have several characters across all 5 servers ¨C will I be able to keep them all? |
| A: Unfortunately you will not be able to keep all of your characters. The character limit is not changing from the current maximum of three characters. |

| Q: I went to create my guild but the name was taken. What shall I do? |

| Q: What about my characters contribution points? |
| A: Character contribution points will remain the same after the merge. New patriarchs will be decided upon based on the new servers contribution ranking system. |

| Q: What happens if there are two characters will the same name on two different servers? |
| A: Upon logging in, character names will be on a first come first server basis. If two characters have the same name on two different servers, then the player that logs in first will be given preference. The other player will then be asked to re-name their character before restoring. Please submit a ticket to customer services (http://cogsupport.codemasters.com) if you feel your name has been stolen in a malicious manner. If a ticket is submitted over the use of a character name ¨C the character that was created first will be given preference. |

| Q: What happens to the items in my bank? |
| A: When you log in with your first character you will need to set up a new storage. Once you have done this, you will need to log out and back into the game for all your items to appear. |

| Q: What is a server merge and why are you doing it? |
| A: A server merge is the merger of the current RF Online game worlds into one or more new game worlds. RF Online will be merging all of the current game worlds (Spirit, Fire, Earth, Wind and Water) into one new game world called ¡®Novus¡¯. The reason for the merge is to enhance game play and resolve the racial imbalances that are currently affecting the majority of players. |

| Q: What is the name of the new server? |
| A: The new server is going to be called Novus. |

| Q: What will happen if I have characters on different servers with more items than the bank can hold? |
| A: All bank items will be placed in the new storage. If your characters have more than 100 items to be placed in storage, you will need to move items from storage into your inventory and log out. The remaining items will then appear in the empty bank slots when you log back in. This process will be repeated until all your bank items have been placed into your storage. |

| Q: What will happen to all my items? |
| A: Your characters will retain all the items they own. |

| Q: What will the procedure for characters transfers be? |
| A: Upon logging into the game world, players will be presented with all of their current characters across all of the previous game worlds (maximum of 15). Player¡¯s will be asked to select three of their current characters to be taken onto the new game world. Any characters that have been created, but have not yet entered the game world will automatically be deleted and players will not have the option to keep that character. |

| Q: Will guilds be transferred across? |
| A: Unfortunately all guilds will need to be re-formed on the new server |

| Q: Will I have to do anything to my client? |
| A: No - when the time comes, all updates for the merge will automatically be downloaded via the games launcher. No manual changes will need to be made by players during the server merge process. |

| Q: Will I have to purchase my bank slots again? |
| A: No, setting up your bank and any slots you have already purchased will be free. |

| Q: Will my buddy list be transferred across with my characters? |
| A: No, unfortunately your buddy list will not be transferred across with the server merge. |

| Q: What is the procedure for transferring my guild across? |
| A: Prior to the server merge taking place, all guilds funds will be wiped. Please ensure that you remove all funds from your guild and distribute it amongst your guild members. Once the server merge has taken place ¡§C guilds will be able to form and purchase their guild emblem free of charge for 1 week. If for any reason your guild funds go missing after the server merge, please contact customer support (http://cogsupprt.codemasters.com) with the following information: 1: guild leader name : 2: guild name : 3: character name who made the enquiry : 4: simple explanation of what happened. |
