Q:
Have there been any recorded kills of PitBosses?
A: There
is no broadcasted message to tell you one of these
bosses has just been killed, so it's just by word
of mouth that information gets around.
Q:
How often do the PitBosses spawn?
A: Every
four hours, counting from the time the server started
up. A Pitboss will not spawn unless it has been
slayed the previous round.
Q:
What items do PitBosses Drop?
A: PitBosses
drop random items that include “intense”
equipment, talics, jewels and rare accessories.
Item drops vary from one Pitboss to another. Generally,
the higher the level of the Pitboss, the better
the item drops will be.
Q:
Why did the PitBoss disappear and respawn back at
its starting location?
A: All
PitBosses have an active range. When they run out
of this range, they will disappear and re-appear
at their spawn point.
Q:
Can another race kill my race’s Pitbosses?
A: Yes,
other races may come into your territory and kill
your pitbosses, however the loot dropped will never
be fit for other races (save for gems and talics)
so there is little incentive for one race to kill
another’s Pitboss.
Q:
When I am fighting a Pitboss, can somebody kill
steal it?
A: Yes,
Pitbosses are free for all, and the person who does
the most damage to the Pitboss wins the loot. The
person who hits the pitboss last (regardless of
amount of damage dealt) wins the kill (but not the
loot) and gets kill XP. If the player doing most
damage or the getting in the last hit is in a party,
then party rules will apply.
