MAU (Massive Armored Unit) - Inspired by the awesome power of the steel-bodied Accretians, the Bellato decided they wanted the same strength but not losing their bodies. Thus they designed and built the Massive Armored Unit. The Bellato is the only race that can operate the Massive Armored Unit.
(Massive Annoying Unit as some put it :) )
The standard MAU has 110,000 HP and has a lot of DEF. There are two types of MAU Chassis.
This is the Melee Chassis MAU a.k.a. "Goliath"
 
This is the Ranged Chassis MAU a.k.a. "Catapult"
 
But before jumping into one, let me point out a few details.
1. You DON?T get xp when inside the MAU, that means you DON?t lvl up when hunting, only your Unit PT goes up.
2. MAU upgrades are affected by Unit PT. At the same note, some upgrades are affected by both Character Level and Unit PT.
3. You need to be Level 30 and above, and a Driver Job Class (2nd Job Class of the Specialist Job Class) in order to drive one of the MAUs.
4. You can keep up to 4 keys (2 for SP and OB).
5. Both chassis need ammo/energy to operate.
